The organisers encourage to present innovative proposals on a broad range of aspects related to islands and sea, landscape, material, and thematic studies, as well as theoretical and methodological approaches.

The conference will be organised as a three-day event with opening and key-note lecture on the evening of the first day, and structured to include papers presentations according to different research themes and geographical areas. At the end of each session, the speakers will be invited to join a short roundtable. This will integrate conference papers and facilitate constructive dialogue between the conference participants.

We intend to publish the papers presented at the meeting. Further Information about the publication will be provided via e-mail and during the meeting. All submissions will be subject to peer review although acceptance for presentation does not guarantee inclusion in the final publication.
